Purchasing a class A RV gas or diesel motorhome is a big deal being it will be one of the larger purchases a person will make. At Blackburn Motors we understand the difficulties and challenges in choosing the right motorhome for you to own.

Michael Blackburn along with his wife Janann Blackburn are the owners of Blackburn Motors. Being a family run business we value our customers and strive to see all their expectations met. Michael Blackburn has been selling motorhomes since December 2006. Having been in business with his father with a previous RV business Michael's hand's on experience having sold hundreds of used motorhomes helps with deciding which motorhomes are the best quality and value for the money. Michael has sold all the following brands: Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Safari, Beaver, Coachmen, Forest River, Four Winds, Thor, Tiffin, Winnebago, Itasca, Newmar, Alfa, Fleetwood , American Coach, Damon, Rexhall, National RV, and Gulf Stream. Having seen and experienced different quality levels and standard of craftmanships by the different manufacturers there is reason why other brands are better than others. At Blackburn Motors we know many motorhome buyers are seasoned RV'ers and know exactly what they want and trust certain brands. We believe Monaco and Holiday Rambler build quality motorhomes such as the Diplomat, Endeavor, Knight, Ambassador, Imperial, and Dynasty. Monaco and Holiday Rambler have a very good ballance of quality with a luxury appearance, yet at very good value. Monaco and Holiday Rambler have excellent floor plans being they started to build 3 slide diesel pushers in 2002 and improved designs every since. The most popular floor plans today are the front opposing slides with 2 coaches with 1 or 2 bedroom slides.

Blackburn Motors mission statement to provide excellent value is taken seriously. Blackburn Motors has a full time buyer who searches for the best motorhome for the money. The buyer Darrell Millman looks at every motorhome available for sale in effort to supply Blackburn Motors with excellent condition motorhomes. Our acceptable range of mileage is 5000 miles per year. We find with average or low miles the motorhome has a better chance to be in very good or excellent condition. Repair cost of motorhomes are very high, so we try to buy motorhomes that don't need lots of work and hopefully will not break and down and be expensive for the customer for years to come.

Why does Blackburn Motors import their motorhomes? Until 2005 the Canadian dollar was significantly lower than the United States currency. All motorhomes are built in the U.S. with the exception of Triple E built in Manitoba (they now only manufacturer class C motorhomes being they discontinued building class A's in 2009). When the Canadian dollar went up it increase our buying power. A motorhome that was much higher priced in Canada now became affordable to Canadians. Also U.S.A has a huge Repossession market. Most banks bring their motorhomes that are repo'd to the dealer auction where Blackburn Motors buys from. Often the banks will take a loss on the loan that is defaulted by the previous owner. Blackburn Motors buyer Darrell waits patiently for the right motorhome with the right condition and the right mileage and other fine details along with the right price.

Motorhome shoppers are using the internet for research what and where to buy their next motorhome. With all the information out there people are willing to travel far distances to buy in effort to get the make and model of motorhome they want for the best possible price. Blackburn Motors sells their imported motorhomes from the states between the price of $40-80,000 for gas and $50-120,000 for diesel. With these large ticket items we hope to save people significant amount of money. Our goal is to offer competively priced motorhomes right here in Canada. We do market research for every motorhome that is similar to the one we are selling and will price it to make sense to buy right here at Blackburn Motors in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.
